Entry into this tournament constitutes
acknowledgement and agreement to this condition.
Please DO NOT contact the Tournament
Director to request an exemption from Thursday Morning,
as ALL
Teams
will be expected to be ready to play on Thursday at 8:00 AM.

multi-use baseball/softball diamonds and a fifth field without lights:
Two 230' fences (Kartens &
LaRocco Fields)
Two 330' fences (Bannwart & Doyle Field) Duneland
is 230' down lines
Electronic Scoreboards, two with LED displays, concessions
available on site, ADA-accessible restrooms, ADA-accessible
playground, One-mile non-motorized walking trail, picnic
shelters with thirty picnic tables, parking provided in paved lots

and copy of insurance MUST

by your respective State Director or Zone Office no later than
Monday, July 14, 2008.
Entry
Fee is $360.00
with payment made by Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Cash
ONLY.
Personal checks will NOT be
accepted. Late Entries will
NOT be accepted.

Director or Zone Office– NO EXCEPTIONS!
Under NO
circumstances will a team be
permitted to submit a roster at the tournament site.
Names will not be added to rosters at the tournament site for ANY REASON!
Note: Failure for the team to submit the entry form, entry fee,
SIGNED Online Roster, and COPY of
Insurance Certificate by the deadline above will result in the team losing their
berth.
FORMAT: 3 Game Minimum Bracket
DIVISIONS: GOLD & SILVER Divisions will be
offered separately.
BPA Reserves the right to combine the Silver and Gold divisions in a tournament
if deemed necessary due to the amount of teams entered.
MANAGERS
MEETING: Managers meeting is MANDATORY - Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at
6:000 pm at Patriot Park.
Please limit maximum of two (2) coach/managers at the meeting.
CHECK IN: All Players must check in before playing and will
receive a wrist band which must be worn during
the entire tournament. ALL Teams MUST check in Check in is
Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 6:000 pm at Patriot Park.
Bring Entire Team, roster check will be done at this time. EACH Player
will be required to check in.
Your State Director or Zone Office must submit your BPA ONLINE Roster,
complete and SIGNED to the tournament site.
Names will NOT be added to any roster at the tournament site
for any reason.
Wrist bands will be secured on each legal player's wrist and
must
be worn during the entire tournament.
If player loses or removes band then they must be rechecked. NO BAND - NO
PLAY.
ANY PLAYER WITHOUT A WRIST BAND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO
PLAY UNTIL A NEW ONE IS ISSUED!
It is the players/coaches responsibility to find the Tournament Director to be
rechecked.

Birth Certificates or
Driver’s License:
Coach or manager must have on hand at all times, in case of protest.
BPA does NOT need copies of birth certificates or Government issue
picture ID.
GAME TIMES: Team should be at the fields, READY to
PLAY, ONE HALF HOUR prior to scheduled game time.
Games may begin up to 30 minutes early if field is available.
BASEBALL: The official BPA Baseball will be provided.
BATS: To be in Strict accordance with the BPA rule book. Rule Book Available online 24/7 at www.playbpa.com
PROTEST:
There will be a $75.00 CASH
ONLY protest fee. If protest is
allowed, the fee will be refunded.
Umpire judgment calls are final.
CONDITIONS: The tournament committee reserves the right to rule on
matters as they occur, including any
deemed necessary to
complete the tournament. This includes changing the
tournament format, due to
unforeseen circumstances
(weather, etc.). The committee assumes that all players
are competing at their
own risk and will not be liable
for accidents or injuries. Entry into this tournament
constitutes agreement
of these conditions.
PLAYING
RULES:
BPA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the BPA Rule Book.
Ignorance of a rule/bylaw does not negate the penalties.
NOTE: ANY Team found with illegal, ineligible,
suspended player (s) or teams that have not met the
BPA Qualifying procedures may be immediately disqualified and
removed from the tournament.
Teams will be removed without refund or their entry fee, and
without reimbursement for any travel
expenses incurred by the team or spectators. The team,
coach, and player (s) will be suspended from BPA.
ADMISSION: Adult (13+) Weekend: $25.00
Children (8-12) Weekend: $10.00
Adult (13+) Day Pass: $8.00 Children
(8-12) Day Pass: $5.00
Children under 8 years of age are free. Players
in uniform are free with PASS.
Up to 3 Coach
passes (Three MAXIMUM) will be given passes at Managers Meeting OR CHECK IN.
Be sure your team knows about admission charge so there will
be no embarrassment at the gate for
your team or spectators. Note: There are no refunds of
admission charges for any reason.
AWARDS: Individual and team sponsor awards will be given in accordance with the BPA Rules.
SOUVENIRS:
Souvenirs will be available. There may be a limited number of these items
so please look early.
Shirts, Hats, Jackets, etc...
Souvenir price will NOT be reduced at or near
the end of the tournament.

CONDUCT: Managers/Coaches are responsible for knowing the rules
and keeping their players & spectators
under control. Abusive language/behavior will not be tolerated. Spectators,
players and/or teams
may be removed from the tournament
without refund.
Tournament Sponsors:
HOTELS: It is strongly
recommended that rooms be booked as early in advance as possible to assure
accommodations in Michigan City. Check with BPA World Series Hotels first
as they are familiar
with us. If rooms are not available in M.C. when you attempt to make
reservations, try to book
something in LaPorte, which is approximately a twenty-minute drive to the park.
