Teams must receive a berth by qualifying for the BPA World Series.
Contact
your State Director for detailed qualifying procedures within your State.
ALL TEAMS MUST PARTICIPATE in their "HOME" STATE CHAMPIONSHIP to VALIDATE the
berth.
Note: PARTICIPATE / PLAY
in the STATE TOURNAMENT means a team must physically play in the tournament or lose their berth.
Paying
& NOT SHOWING for the STATE TOURNAMENT WILL BE CAUSE FOR YOU
TO LOSE YOUR BERTH!
All teams MUST enter the BPA World Series through
their "Home State" Director or Zone Office.
This information will be updated as the tournament gets closer. The
Tournament committee is aware
that hotel rooms & Work Schedules are an issue and will do their best to attain
a solid info ASAP.
Entry into this tournament constitutes
acknowledgement and agreement to this condition.

Under NO
circumstances will a team be
permitted to submit a roster at the tournament site.
Names will not be added to rosters at the tournament site for ANY REASON!
Note: Failure for the team to submit the entry form, entry fee,
SIGNED Online Roster, and COPY of
Insurance Certificate by the deadline above will result in the team losing their
berth.

COACH/MANAGERS
MEETING: Meeting
is MANDATORY
Wednesday July 23rd
Location & Time:
Holt High School at 3:00 PM
Please limit maximum of two (2) coach/managers at the meeting.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to have a representative at the Managers Meeting.
This is the only time
that details regarding the World Series will be discussed. Any last minute
changes or updates will be
announced at this meeting.
CHECK IN:
Wednesday July 23rd in Tent at Holt High School.
10:00 - 3:00 PM
ALL PLAYERS and COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND
Bring Entire Team
and Government Issue ID's (Birth Certificate) - roster check will be done at this time.
Each Player
will be required to check in WITH Government Issue ID's.
Your State Director or Zone Office must submit your BPA ONLINE Roster,
complete and SIGNED to the tournament site.
Names will NOT be added to any roster at the tournament site.
Wrist bands will be secured on each legal player's wrist and
must
be worn during the entire tournament.
If player loses or removes band then they must be rechecked. NO BAND - NO
PLAY.
ANY PLAYER WITHOUT A WRIST BAND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO
PLAY UNTIL A NEW ONE IS ISSUED!
It is the players/coaches responsibility to find the Tournament Director to be
rechecked.
OTHER COMMENTS: During Team registration their will be skills competition
available for Players to take part in.
Home Run Derby, Bunting Skills,
Around the Horn for Infielders, Outfield Accuracy Throw will be running from
11:00am until 3:00pm. Champions and
Runner up will be honored on the field at Oldsmobile Park Wednesday Night.
They will get to meet the Minor
League Players, and take the filed with them for the National Anthem.
FIRST GAME TIME: Will be posted online at: www.MichiganBPA.com by Sunday, July 20th
GAME TIMES: Team should be at the fields, READY to
PLAY, ONE HALF HOUR prior to scheduled game time.
Games may begin up to 30 Minutes early if fields are available. Please do
not assume that if your field is behind
that your game will not start on time! Directors can move games to open
fields to keep the tournament on schedule.
Birth Certificates –
Driver’s License:
Coach or manager must have on hand at all times, in case of protest.
BPA does NOT need copies.
Pitching Distance: 60'6"
Base Distance: 90'
BASEBALL: The official BPA Baseball will be provided.
BATS: To be in Strict accordance with the BPA rule book. Rule Book Available online 24/7 at www.playbpa.com
PROTEST: There will be a $75.00 CASH
ONLY protest fee. If protest is
allowed, the fee will be refunded.
Umpire judgment calls are final.
CONDITIONS:
The tournament committee reserves the right to rule on
matters as they occur, including any
deemed necessary to
complete the tournament. This includes changing the
tournament format, due to
unforeseen circumstances
(weather, etc.). The committee assumes that all players
are competing at their
own risk and will not be liable
for accidents or injuries. Entry into this tournament
constitutes agreement
of these conditions.
UNIFORMS: To be in strict accordance with BPA team dress code.
PLAYING
RULES:
BPA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the BPA Rule Book.
ADMISSION:
Adult (13+) Weekend: $25.00 Children (7-12) and Senior (65+) Weekend:
$20.00
Adult (13+) Day Pass: $8.00 Children
(7-12) and Senior
(65+) Day Pass: $6.00
Players in uniform with WRIST BANDS are Free.
Up to 3 Coach
passes (Three MAXIMUM) will be given passes at Managers Meeting OR CHECK IN.
Coaches along with all spectators and players will be asked to show passes
EVERY TIME they enter a facility.
Be sure your team knows about admission charge so there will
be no embarrassment at the gate for
your team or spectators. Note: There are no refunds of
admission charges for any reason.
AWARDS: In accordance with BPA rulebook.

PARK
POLICIES: Players and spectators are expected to follow park
rules at all times.
NO PETS - NO ALCOHOL - NO SMOKING and Please clean out dugouts after each game.
CONDUCT: Managers/Coaches are responsible for knowing the rules
and keeping their players &
spectators under control. Abusive language/behavior will not be tolerated.
Spectators,
players and/or teams may be removed from the tournament
without refund.

OPENING CEREMONIES:
will take place at Oldsmobile Stadium before the Minor League Baseball Game
between
the Lansing LugNuts and the Quad Cities River Bandits. Teams will Parade around
the warning track and be
introduced to the crowd. Ticket prices range from $8.00-$24.00., Depending on
Individual choice.
