Where do I Begin?

 

STEP 1: REGISTER YOUR TEAM

All teams that participate in BPA tournaments must be registered with The Baseball Players Association for the current season.

Any BPA registered team may participate in Qualifiers, NIT, and State Tournaments, but Must Qualify to Participate in the BPA - LOUISVILLE SLUGGER WORLD SERIES.

 Register your team online.  Once your team information is submitted, you will receive instructions on where to MAIL your fee.  
Once the registration fee is received, your Director will "Approve" your registration. You will then receive your registration number via e-mail. 
You can then use your registration number to purchase team insurance, enter your roster online, and enter Tournaments online.

Note:  The email you receive with your registration number is your receipt and registration card for the year.

  


 STEP 2: TEAM INSURANCE
 All teams that participate in BPA Youth tournaments must provide proof of TOURNAMENT INSURANCE for the team.
Your team will not be allowed to participate without  a copy being left at the tournament site.

Note Regarding Insurance: Proof must show Amount of Coverage as on an actual certificate.
A LETTER stating you have team insurance IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

You will need your BPA registration number in order to purchase the T&F insurance. Although it is not necessary that 
you purchase the insurance that BPA offers, please take the time to make an informed decision.

You will need to take a copy of the Team Insurance Certificate to each tournament, to leave at the site.

PLEASE NOTE:  Once you receive your team registration number, you can enter tournaments
OR  Enter your roster online at any time.  You DO NOT have to enter your roster online before
entering tournaments through the online system.


 STEP 3: ENTER ROSTER ONLINE  
NOTE:  ALL Tournament TEAMS MUST use the Official BPA ONLINE ROSTER.
You must first have received your registration number via email, before entering your roster online.

You will need the following information for your players BEFORE you begin to enter your Roster Online.
Correct Spelling of Player's Name - Please NO Nicknames - NO C.J.'s - Use Christopher James
Full Address - Include City, State, Zip
Player's Date of Birth
Player's Driver's License Number or State ID Number.  If no Driver's License, please put N/A in DL area.

You will need to PRINT out your completed roster to attain signatures from Players and parents.
You will need to take a copy of this COMPLETE & SIGNED roster to each tournament, to leave at the site.

 


 STEP 4: ENTER TOURNAMENTS - Enter Tournaments ONLINE!
You must first have received your registration number via email, before entering your roster or tournaments online.
PLEASE NOTE:  If you enter tournaments ONLINE, your entry is NOT ACCEPTED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
Your spot in the tournament is NOT saved, until the office receives payment.  

Note: If you DO NOT find tournaments in your area, please SELECT "ALL or ANY" for your State. 
If you still DO NOT find tournaments contact your State Director.

Note: You will be unable to enter NIT’s/World Tournaments online.
YOU MUST ENTER THESE TOURNAMENTS THROUGH YOUR "HOME STATE" DIRECTOR.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE "COMMENT AREA" OF EACH TOURNAMENT – VITAL INFORMATION REGARDING EACH TOURNAMENT WILL BE POSTED THERE.

STEP 5:  READ WHAT TO BRING TO TOURNAMENTS!
